To see the reality you just have to open your eyes
by Jonathan Becedas
In front of life
in the wrong place,
at the inaccurate moment:
a light in the dark
of my thoughts,
a sweet chill,
a heartbeat in the nape.
The juice of the apple
runs down my chin,
because I dared,
and now I see the truth:
everything is wrong
and not the other way around,
as they made me see.
I discovered the secret,
I opened the trapdoor,
I was bitten by the snake,
I breathed underwater
and I saw in the darkness:
behind fear
there was life.
But everything was there:
just in front
so it could not be seen
with eyes closed,
because to see the reality
you just have to open your eyes.
